Welcome to ICCFE 2018

 

The 2018 5th International Conference on Chemical and Food Engineering (ICCFE 2018) will be held during April 04-06, 2017 in Nugegoda, Sri Lanka. ICCFE 2018, is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Chemical and Food Engineering to a common forum.

Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences (physics and chemistry), life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. A chemical engineer designs large-scale processes that convert chemicals, raw materials, living cells, microorganisms and energy into useful forms and products.

Food engineering is a multidisciplinary field which combines microbiology, applied physical sciences, chemistry and engineering for food and related industries. Food engineering includes, but is not limited to, the application of agricultural engineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering principles to food materials. Food engineers provide the technological knowledge transfer essential to the cost-effective production and commercialization of food products and services. Physics, chemistry, and mathematics are fundamental to understanding and engineering products and operations in the food industry.


The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Chemical and Food Engineering. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in Japan and abroad. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Chemical and Food Engineering and related areas.

Accepted papers will be published in one of the following journals according to the specific topic of the paper:

Option One

International Journal of Chemical Engineering and Applications (IJCEA ISSN: 2010-0221), which can be indexed by Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS), Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, CABI, DOAJ, Electronic Journals Library, Google Scholar, Engineering & Technology Digital Library, ProQuest, and Crossref.

 

Option Two

International Journal of Food Engineering (IJFE, ISSN: 2301-3664), which can be indexed by Google Scholar; Crossref; Engineering & Technology Digital Library; etc.

 

 

Addendum: For those a few authors who don't expect any publication of your papers, you're welcome to submit the abstracts to us and present your papers at the conference without publishing.

We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.


One Excellent Presentation will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Excellent
Presentations will be awarded after each session of the conference.
